Five Things You Need to Know Today, March 1

MBTA driver arrested, South End Library event and bootcamp at the Y.

Today is Tuesday, March 1. Here are five things you need to know:

2. An MBTA bus driver was at the Saturday afternoon. The driver, who was operating a route 39 bus, was taken to Transit Police headquarters for probable cause. He passed a breathalyze test and was released by police but won't be allowed to drive the T while the MBTA conducts an investigation.

3. Looking to get into shape? Kick it off with the Ultimate Bootcamp. With Monday through Thursday workouts at 6 a.m. - 7 a.m., get a stronger, more toned energetic body with the three week challenge. Click here for more information.

4. After her last appearance was delayed by snow, will return to the South End Library this evening to show her work, including "She Lives to Ride" and "Angelo Unwritten." The , which is sponsored by the Friends of the South End Library, beings at 6:30 p.m.

5. The Boston Conservatory is holding a special performance of "One Touch of Venus" (a 1940's musical) at 2 p.m., followed by a cocktail party afterwards. Tickets are $30 per person and enrollment is limited, so register online at the NABB website.
