3. Attending a Boston Ballet performance is usually a costly affair, but Friday, Mayor Menino and the Boston Public Schools are sponsoring two free shows at the Strand Theatre. The first performance, at 11 a.m., is for Boston Public School students only, but the 7 p.m. performance is free and open to the general public. Click here for more info.
