2. Tito Jackson will represent a portion of the South End after securing a landslide victory in Tuesday's District 7 City Council election. Jackson secured 82 percent of the vote, according to unofficial results. Read the full story here.

4. Who's turning Beantown into Greentown? The deadline to make a nomination for Mayor Menino's 5th Annual Green Business, Residential and Bike Awards is Friday. The awards go to companies that implement sustainable business practices in their regular operations.
