Hospital rankings, new library hours and street cleaning starts again.

1. Sunny skies today with highs in the upper 40s. Winds dying down a bit at 5 - 10 mph. Later this week...snow?!

2. ranked 15th among the Boston area's 73 hospitals according to rankings compiled by US News Media Group. At the top of the list were Mass. 3. Starting next fall, the Copley Square main branch of the Boston Public Library may be closed on Sundays as part of a proposal passed by the board of trustees that's expected to save $243,000 in overtime costs while preventing layoffs and other neighborhood branches from closing. The plan still needs to be approved by the City Council and the mayor. The library is currently open on Sundays from 1 p.m. - 5 p.m., October through May. Read more here.

4. It's time to dust off the calendar: street cleaning starts on Friday, April 1. Re-familiarize yourself with posted street cleaning signs on your block, and consider signing up for email reminders through the city's"No Tow" program here. According to a press release issued by the Mayor's office, the fine for parking violations during street cleaning will remain at $40, but your vehicle is also subject to towing.
