Meet King! He is an 11-month-old male Pitbull mix who was transferred from the Dakin Animal Shelter in Springfield after the tornado hit.
As you can probably see from his adorable expression, he’s a goofy young man just looking for someone to love. King loves to go for walks and play with toys, sometimes at the same time! You can often see him walking the streets of the South End with one of his favorite toys in his mouth.
He gets along well with other dogs and attends our daily dog playgroup here where he mostly plays with other dogs that have a rough playstyle like him. King is looking for an active home where he can get daily walks and playtime, not to mention daily cuddle time.
