• Man charged in South End ‘street takeover' gets $2,000 bail (bostonglobe.com) — A man accused in a fiery “street takeover” near Massachusetts Avenue and Tremont Street in Boston’s South End has been granted $2,000 bail after prosecutors alleged he threw a firework that burned a police cruiser. Investigators say the Connecticut resident is the third person from outside Massachusetts tied to the South End incident, following earlier arrests of two Rhode Island teens.
