South End Police Log: Armed Assault and Larceny Charges

The following arrests took place in the South End between Friday, August 12 and Thursday, August 18. All suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Friday, August 12

Robert Burton, of 788 Blue Hill Ave., #201, Dorchester, was arrested around 8 p.m. at 840 Harrison Ave. and charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.

Rafael Mandez, of 523 Mass Ave., was arrested around 11:30 a.m. on Clarendon St. and charged with larceny from a motor vehicle over $200.

Matthew Montagna, of Long Island Shelter, was arrested around 2:40 p.m. at 616 Mass Ave. and charged with assault with a dangerous weapon (knife).

Two juveniles were arrested around 3:07 p.m. at 785 Tremont St. and charged with larceny from a motor vehicle over $200.

Saturday, August 13

No arrests.

Sunday, August 14

Brian Murray, of 31 Zeller St., Roslindale, was around 10 a.m. at 850 Harrison Ave. and charged with larceny of a bicycle worth over $200.

Kareem Francisco, of 444 Harrison Ave., was arrested around 6:42 p.m. at 1113 Washington St. and charged with possession of a class B substance with intent to distribute.

Monday, August 15 

Ronald Lomba, of 120 Highland St., was arrested around 12:17 a.m. at 273 East Berkeley St. and charged with larceny over $200.

Corey Ault, of 18 Central St., A, Somerville, was arrested around 3:54 p.m. on West Springfield St. and charged with assault and battery.

Tiffani Odige, of 2262 Dorchester Ave., #314, Dorchester, was arrested around 2:05 p.m. at 771 Albany St. and charged with possession of a class C substance with intent to distribute. 

Paul McCarthy, of 143 East Cottage St., Roxbury, was arrested around 6:52 p.m. on Albany St. and charged with possession of a class B substance with intent to distribute.

Tuesday, August 16

Darell Rose, of 48 Cameron Ave., #2, Somerville, was arrested around 2:59 p.m. at 273 East Berkeley St. and charged with possession of a class B substance with intent to distribute.

Wednesday, August 17

Jailson Taveres, of 36 Speedwell St., #3, Dorchester, was arrested around 3:45 p.m. at 444 Harrison Ave. and charged with assault and battery.

Thursday, August 18

A juvenile was arrested around 12:45 p.m. at 3 Columbus Square and charged with assault and battery.

Two juveniles were arrested around 1:56 p.m. on Columbus Ave. and charged with receiving stolen property.
