South End Police Log: Armed Assault and Larceny Charges

The following arrests took place in the South End between Friday, September 2 and Thursday, September 8. All suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Friday, September 2

Juan Clement, of 444 Harrison Ave. and Maurice Noble, of 15 Victory Rd., Dorchester, were arrested around 2:20 p.m. at 1120 Washington St. and charged with possession of a class D substance with intent to distribute.

John Lorusso, of 580 Tremont St., was arrested around 4:42 p.m. at 578 Tremont St. and charged with assault and battery. 

Aric Williams, of 45 Dewey St., was arrested around 7:30 p.m. at 840 Harrison Ave. and charged with possession of a class B substance with intent to distribute.

Ansy Gaston, of 63 Semont Rd., Dorchester, was arrested around 7:32 p.m. on East Berkeley St. and charged with possession of a class B substance with intent to distribute. 

Saturday, September 3

Christopher McNeil, of 184 Fenno St., Quincy, was arrested around 9 a.m. at 850 Harrison Ave. and charged with possession of a class E substance with intent to distribute.

Emanuel Washington, of 156 Woodrow Ave., Dorchester, was arrested around 4:30 p.m. on Albany St. and charged with unarmed street robbery.

William Howard, of 463 Fulton St., Medford; John Casey, of 40 Corey St., Medford and Ronnie Cato, of 3 Woodbine St., #1, Roxbury, were arrested around 4:23 p.m. on Harrison Ave. and charged with street robbery involving a firearm.

Brandone Bailey, of 35 Loretta Rd., Waltham, was arrested around 9:10 p.m. on Washington St. and charged with assault and battery.

Sunday, September 4

No arrests.

Monday, September 5

Montrelle Dubose, of 10 Winthrop St. #3, Roxbury, was arrested around 6:48 p.m. at 1200 Washington St. and charged with assault with a dangerous weapon (gun).

Tuesday, September 6

Carl Belton, of 206 Prairie Ave., Providence, RI, was arrested around 12:43 a.m. at 1010 Mass Ave. and charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon. 

Bryan Owens, of 675 Mass Ave., was arrested around 5:30 p.m. on Harrison Ave. and charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and possession of a class B substance with intent to distribute. 

Eric Neal, of 733 Adams St., Dorchester, was arrested around 8:45 p.m. at 1145 Washington St. and charged with possession of a class B substance with intent to distribute.

Wednesday, September 7

Ronald Letts, of 75 Houston St., Milton, was arrested around 4:34 p.m. at 273 East Berkeley St. and charged with possession of a class B substance with intent to distribute.

Angel Benitez, of 444 Harrison Ave., was arrested around 7:10 p.m. at 1960 Washington St. and charged with possession of a class B substance with intent to distribute.

Derrick Robert, of 545 Mass Ave., #2, was arrested around 6:17 p.m. at 748 Tremont St. and charged with possession of a class B substance with intent to distribute.

Thursday, September 8

Joshua Silver-Maltzman, of 48 Duahan St., Attleboro, was arrested around 9:44 a.m. on Berkeley St. and charged with larceny over $200.

Robert Merchant, of 212 Commercial St., Weymouth, was arrested around 10:31 a.m. at 794 Mass Ave. and charged with possession of a class E substance with intent to distribute.

Jamal Verdejo, of 444 Harrison Ave., was arrested around 4:08 p.m. at 33 Traveler St. and charged with larceny $50-199 and possession of a class A substance with intent to distribute.
