South End Police Log: Drug Distribution and Shoplifting Charges
Arrests in the South End from May 6 - 12.

The following arrests took place in the South End between Friday, May 6 and Thursday, May 12. All suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
Friday, May 6
John Baptista, of 35 Armidine St., Dorchester, was arrested around 7:15 a.m. at 801 Massachusetts Ave. and charged with assault and battery.

A juvenile was arrested around 9:48 a.m. at 90 Warren Ave. and charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.
David Bard, of 444 Harrison Ave., was arrested around 1:30 p.m. at 90 Warren St. and charged with open and gross lewdness.

Saturday, May 7
Jimmy Smith, of 24 East Springfield St., B1, was arrested around 4:59 p.m. at his residence and charged with assault and battery.
Sunday, May 8
Joseph Hickey, of 17 Carolina St., Medford, was arrested around 11:50 p.m. on Union Park St. and charged with unarmed street robbery.
Michael Wallace, of 1077 Main St., #102, Wakefield, was arrested around 11:01 a.m. at 710 Albany St. and charged with possession of a class B substance (cocaine).
Lazaro Miranda, of 794 Mass Ave., was arrested around 3:16 p.m. at 840 Harrison Ave. and charged with possession of a class D substance.
Rafael Rosario, of 794 Mass Ave., was arrested around 4 p.m. at 51 Worcester St. and charged with receiving stolen property.
Monday, May 9
Myleaka Newton, of 650 Harvard St., #2, Mattapan and Wykeem Price, of 25 Logan St., Roxbury, were arrested around 5:09 p.m. at 874 Harrison Ave. and charged with possession of a class B substance with intent to distribute.
Jamie Foote, of 89 East Canton St., #5, was arrested around 5:40 p.m. at 801 Mass Ave. on drug charges.
Curtis Matthews, of 95 Hammond St., #515, was arrested around 9:35 p.m. at 117 East Berkeley St. and charged with possession of a class B substance with intent to distribute.
Tuesday, May 10
Jose Acosta-Balbuena, of the Long Island Shelter, was arrested around 3 p.m. on West Dedham St. and charged with indecent exposure.
Eduardo Irizarry, of 77 South Huntington Ave., #6 and Demeturice Dunton, of 75 Elm Hill Ave., Dorchester, were arrested around 6:28 p.m. at 315 Mass Ave. and charged with possession of a class D substance with intent to distribute.
Wednesday, May 11
Luis Rodriquez, of 83 Westland Ave., #201, was arrested around 3 a.m. at 650 Harrison Ave. and charged with assault and battery.
Tonia Cross, of 45 Dwight St., A, was arrested around 8:45 a.m. at 400 Tremont St. and charged with larceny under $50.
Robin Ann Harkin, homeless, was arrested around 10 p.m. at 650 Harrison Ave. and charged with possession of a class D substance (marijuana).
Andre Taylor, of 377 Lowell St., Lawrence, was arrested around 6:35 p.m. at 433 Harrison Ave. and charged with possession of a class B substance with intent to distribute.
Thursday, May 12
Michael Custis, of 50 Quincy St., Cambridge, was arrested around 9:55 a.m. at 6 Yarmouth St. and charged with assault and battery.
John Freeman, of 83 Homestead St., #2, Roxbury, was arrested around 5:40 p.m. on Northampton St. and charged with possession of a class A substance with intent to distribute.
