Suspicious Suitcase Found Chained to Albany Street Fence
Suitcase found to contain clothing and "grooming materials."

A suitcase chained to a fence outside of a Boston Medical Center building attracted police attention Wednesday night as bomb squad officers were called in to evaluate the suspicious object.
The black Pelican suitcase valued at $495 was found unattended around 7:31 p.m., chained to an iron fence outside an Albany Street building. The building is home to Boston Medical Center offices as well as programs run by the city’s Health Commission.
Pelican cases are customarily used by the military and police and fire units to store weapons and other sensitive materials.
