The Week in Review: CRU Owners Charged, "Whitey" Arrested

It was a good week for law enforcement, with the capture of longtime fugitive "Whitey" Bulger and a warrant sweep resulting in the indictment of 31 suspected drug dealers in the Lenox Street housing development. The city hosted a Rolling Rally for the Stanley Cup champion Bruins on Saturday, with duck boats holding the players and Lord Staney's Cup traveling through the packed streets of Boston.

The owners of CRU Wine and Spirits have been accused of involvement in a drug ring that spanned at least three states and involved 13 people, according to documents filed against the pair last month in U.S. District Court.

Police made a slew of arrests on Tuesday in the area surrounding the Lenox Street housing project, picking up 21 alleged drug dealers as part of a special operation targeting drugs and gun violence in the area.
