Back To School: Burlington 2022-23 School Calendar
Burlington students will be back in the classroom at the end of this month. Here are some important dates for the rest of the school year.
BURLINGTON, MA — For many, summer remains in full swing. The new school year is fast approaching, though, with students set to be back in the classroom in just a matter of weeks.
The Burlington Public Schools have released their 2022-2023 calendar, complete with information on the first day of classes, Thanksgiving break, winter break and more.
The first day of school for students in grades 1 through 12 is set for Aug. 29, while the last day will be June 15 if there are no snow days this winter. Snow could push the end of school as far as June 23, with a day off scheduled on June 19 for Juneteenth if school is still in session at that point.

As students and families get set for a new school year, here’s a list of important dates to know:
- First Day (grades 1-12): Aug. 29
- First Day (pre-k and k): Sept. 6
- Thanksgiving Break: Nov. 24 - 25
- Holiday Vacation: Dec. 26 - Jan. 2
- February Break: Feb. 20 - 24
- Spring Break: April 17 - 21
- Last Day (no snow days): June 15
