Gators Have Arrived At Stone, and They're Not Happy

Two American alligators to spend summer in Stoneham.

Two American Alligators arrived in Stoneham Saturday and they're not happy.

It isn't because they don't like their new enclosure, and it isn't because they're not being treated like royalty. Gators love warm/hot temperatures like in their native Florida. Monday's mid-50s temperatures, following by Tuesday's 60-degree day makes for a disappointed gator. Add in the fact all the current attention is going to a bunch of noisy pink birds and you can see why they're angry.

But with temperatures expected to hit mid-70s by the end of the week there's hope. So after you check out the new Caribbean Coast this weekend, make sure to swing by the gators and say hello. They love attention almost as much as they love heat.
