3. Antique Appraisal Night at 6 p.m. Join the Stoneham Historical Society for an entertaining evening of Antique Appraisal, much like the popular PBS TV show. A representative from Kaminski Auctioneers of Beverly will be on hand to evaluate items. Dust off that vase that's been in your family for years, a flea market painting or anything else that might be revealed as the rare and highly valuable item of the night. Admission is free but appraisals are $10 donation for each item or $25 for up to three items paid by cash or check. Please note: no stamps, coins or jewelry will be appraised - and rare books are not their specialty.
4. Parkinson's Support Group. The support group for those living with Parkinson's disease or caring for someone with the illness meets the first Thursday of each month, including today, at 1 p.m. at the Stoneham Senior Center. Call (781) 438-1157 for information.
