Historical Commission Meets Tonight

Five things to know today, Monday, April 1, 2013:

1. Chance of showers, thunderstorms also possible after 3 p.m. Increasing clouds with a high near 58, according to the National Weather Service. Chance of precipitation is 30 percent. Tonight, a chance showers, mainly before 7 p.m.. Mostly cloudy, then gradually becoming clear, with a low around 27. West wind 14 to 16 mph.

2. Stoneham Historical Commission meets at 7 p.m. Among the items on the agenda tonight is the Community Preservation Act, which Stoneham voters will decide on in tomorrow's annual town election.

3. Wii bowling for seniors. Have fun and brush up on your bowling skills each Monday (except holidays) at 8:30 a.m. at the Stoneham Senior Center. All are welcome. The Senior Center's Wii bowling team frequently participates in tournaments with other Centers and independent living facilities in the area.
