Hot Off the T: Five Things to Do in Boston This Weekend

- BREAK DANCING, HIP-HOP AT THE ICA:On Saturday, 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. theFloorlords return to their hometown to perform break dancing routines at the Institute of Contemporary Art on the waterfront. There will also be a battle between hip-hop and b-boy dancers. Tickets range from $15 (members, students) to $25.
Take the commuter rail from Winchester to North Station, then the Orange Line to State Street station and walk 20 minutes to the museum. Or you can cheat by changing to the red line at Downtown Crossing; get off at South Station; and take the Silver Line to Court House Station; and then walk 5 minutes to the museum.
- WALKING TOUR OF THE SOUTH END: On Sunday, 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. the Boston Center for Adult Education offers a walking tour of the topographical and architectural development of this fascinating urban community. Tour includes a stop at post-walk for a free appetizer. Register here.

- MIDSUMMER DINNER ON BEACON HILL: On Saturday and Sunday the is celebrating the summer solstice with its traditional Nordic “Midsommarmiddag” or “Midsummer Dinner”. The dinner is available 5:30 p.m. to 11 p.m. (10 p.m. on Sunday) and costs $40 per person. Reservations are recommended by calling 617-723-7575.

- BOSTON PORTRAITS: On Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. this art show features paintings, sculptures and other art objects that share the common genre of portraiture, whether it be portraits of people or images of the city itself. Cost, $5.

- JEEP QUEST: On Saturday at from 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. you and a friend can try to win a 2011 Jeep Compass by following clues leading to different spots around the city. Team members will then use their mobile phones to answer riddles and complete mini challenges. Register here.
