Rabid Raccoon Captured, Euthanized in Stoneham
At 11:26 a.m. on June 20, Stoneham police responded to Cleveland Fence & Supply on Montvale Avenue for a report of a sick raccoon, according to a police log. The rabid raccoon was reportedly captured and euthanized.
June 19
3:52 p.m.: A Marble Street resident reported unauthorized charges on her credit card, according to a police log. A report was taken.
June 20
9:17 a.m.: Police responded to William Street on a report of a minor motor vehicle crash, according to a police log. No tows or transports logged.
1:20 p.m.: Police responded to a minor two-vehicle accident involving an unmarked cruiser, according to a police log. No tows or transports logged.
3:30 p.m.: Police called to Route 93 North in the area between Exits 35 and 36 for a report of an accident involving a car and a motorcycle, according to a police log. One person was taken to Lawrence Memorial Hospital, according to the log.
June 21
6:24 a.m.: Police responded to the area of Fellsway East and Ravine Road on a report of a motor vehicle accident, according to a police log. State Police notified, according to the log. No tows or transports logged.
6:07 p.m.: Police called to Main Street on a report of a two-car accident, according to a police log. No transports, and one vehicle towed from the scene, according to the log.
6:16 p.m.: Police called to Furniture World on Main Street for a report of vehicle vandalism, according to a police log. The caller reported that a truck window belonging to the business was broken by a child hitting rocks with a tennis racket, according to the log. A report was taken.

8:29 a.m.: Police responded to Main Street for a report of a past larceny, according to a police log. Plants were reportedly stolen from in front of Evergreen Florists and Melissa's Main Street Bistro. A summons was reportedly sought in the case.
9:29 a.m.: Police responded to Unicorn Avenue on a report of a hypodermic needle found in the area, according to a police log. The needle was reportedly recovered and disposed of properly.
4:15 p.m.: Police called to West Wyoming Avenue for a report of a motor vehicle accident, according to a police log. No tows or transports logged.
10:14 p.m.: Police responded to Montvale Avenue on a report of hypodermic needles found on the ground near the back of a garage and mulch, according to a police log. The needles were reportedly recovered and disposed of properly.
