LEGO Day at Stoneham Public Library

Here is a sampling of five things to know on Friday, July 26 in Stoneham:

1. LEGO time! Stoneham Public Library will be hosting LEGO Day from 10:30 a.m. to noon Friday in the Children's Room, according to the library website. The program is for children ages 5-plus (best for 8-plus), and children under 8 need to be accompanied by an adult, according to the site.

2. Beer tasting: Redstone Liquors will be hosting a beer tasting featuring three of Battle Road Brewing's beers, including the 1775 Tavern Ale, 
Lexington Green East India Pale Ale (IPA) and Barrett’s Farmhouse Ale, at 4 p.m. Friday, according to an event posting on Stoneham Patch.

3. Local weather: Friday is expected to be cloudy, with temperatures reaching a high of 74 and an overnight low of 63, according to the National Weather Service's forecast for Stoneham. During the day there is a 60 percent chance of rain, and a 40 percent rain of rain at night, the forecast notes.
