Seminar to Offer Expert Advice to First-Time Home Buyers
The series will give first-time home buyers insight on what to expect from lenders, real estate agents and attorneys.

New home buyers can learn the ins and outs of buying a house in a series of three seminars hosted by StonehamBank this fall.
Real estate professionals will offer advice and answer questions during each three-hour seminar. The first seminar kicks off at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 20 at StonehamBank, 80 Montvale Ave.
Presenters include Cathy Dyl, StonehamBank loan officer; Lisa Fiandaca, MassHousing business development officer; and Jan Triglione, owner and broker of Premier Realty Group, Inc.

“We know that educated home buyers, especially those looking for their very first home, will benefit from the knowledge our loan officers and their specialists provide,” StonehamBank marketing officer Josh Mahoney said.
At the seminar, attendees will be able to request free pre-qualification applications and credit reports.

“The goal of the seminar is for the knowledge imparted to lead to successful homeownership for the attendees,” Dyl said.
The second seminar takes place at the Billerica branch StonehamBank, 493 Boston Road in Billerica, at 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 18.
The final seminar will be at the Stoneham branch at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 15.
