Stolen Jeep Ends Up In Doleful Pond
Police aren't sure how or when the jeep ended up in Stoneham.

STONEHAM, MA — Police on Wednesday morning found a stolen jeep with no one inside submerged in Doleful Pond.
Fire Chief Matthew Grafton and Police Chief James McIntyre said responders went to the pond just before 9 a.m. after a 911 call. A dive team searched the wreck and determined no one was inside the vehicle.
As Doleful Pond is in the Middlesex Fells Reservation, State Police were called to assist and the Department of Environmental Protection was notified.
