Stoneham Coronavirus: Urgent Care Testing 250-300 People Weekly

Here is the latest on the coronavirus in Stoneham.

STONEHAM, MA — AFC Urgent Care in Stoneham is testing about 250-300 area residents a week, according to a Board of Health update Monday. As of Tuesday, April 7, the latest date for which coronavirus figures are available in Stoneham, there were 78 total cases of the virus and 30 active cases.

The Board of Health continues to urge residents to practice social distancing measures. Residents are asked to comply with Gov. Baker's face-covering advisory when in places where social distancing may be difficult, including businesses like grocery and hardware stores.

The advisory does not apply to basic outdoor activities like exercise, walking, hiking or yard work.
