Breezy, with a south wind 7 to 12 mph becoming west 16 to 21 mph in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 31 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30 percent. Tonight, showers likely, mainly between 4 a.m. and 5 a.m. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 46. North wind 5 to 8 mph becoming light and variable. Chance of precipitation is 60 percent.
2. Elementary School District Boundaries Subcommittee meets at 6 p.m. On the agenda tonight are introductions, initial discussions and scheduling future meetings.

3. Board of Selectmen meets. The meeting is scheduled for 7 p.m.
4. Stoneham Housing Authority meets at 5 p.m. Among the items on the agenda tonight are voting to award new contracts.

5. Morning hike in the fells. Spring is here and signs of the season are popping up all over — if you know where to look for them. Join Friends of the Fells hike leader Boot Boutwell today from 9:15-11:30 a.m. for a nature walk that will focus on plant identification as well as fun and interesting natural history. Meet at the Virginia Wood parking lot to the right of the house at 1 Woodland Road (at the intersection of Woodland Road and Pond Street) in Stoneham. Steady rain cancels.
