Stoneham Firefighters 'Cook for a Cure'

Two groups of Stoneham's bravest will join north shore firefighters for the fifth annual fundraising event this weekend.

 

Stoneham Firefighters will be 'Cooking for a Cure' this weekend, along with several other north shore fire house chefs. 

Two groups of Stoneham Fire Department cooks will face off against other teams of three to six firefighter-chefs as part of the Firefighters/MDA Cooking for a Cure event at the Danversport Yacht Club this Saturday, March 23 at 6 p.m. Food will be served between 7 and 9 p.m.

At the ovens for Stoneham will be: Dan Kelleher, Chuck Webber, Mark Chabak, Jim McLaughlin, Jr. and Michael Labriola.

In addition to all you can eat dinner on Saturday, there will be a cash bar and raffles.

"Fire houses have some great cooks," said Labriola on Monday. "This will be a great event." 

The fifth annual event is hosted by the Marblehead Firefighters Local 2043 and can be found on Facebook and online
