Stoneham Gyro Restaurant Celebrates Grand Opening
The Gyro Spot opened its Stoneham location earlier this year before a grand opening event last week.
STONEHAM, MA — The Gyro Spot in Stoneham officially marked its grand opening on Friday a matter of months after opening its doors earlier this year.
The Gyro Spot bills itself as a destination for “classic, Greek gyros served fresh, fast, and with a smile.” Its menu includes a variety of gyros as well as rice bowls, gyro fries, burritos and more.
The restaurant’s new Stoneham location on Montvale Avenue is the latest expansion for a chain now spanning three locations with other sites in Manchester, NH and Salem, Mass.

The Gyro Spot traces its history back a decade to 2012, when its owners opened their first Gyro Spot restaurant in Manchester.
Greek street food offerings have won the Gyro Spot its share of fans and critical praise over the years, including an appearance on the Phantom Gourmet in 2016.

The restaurant opened in Stoneham in July. Its personnel later gathered with the Stoneham Chamber of Commerce on Friday for their local ribbon cutting.
