Stoneham Police Selling Camouflage Patches For Good Cause
Police are wearing and selling camouflage uniform patches to honor veterans and raise money for the town's Veterans Assistance Fund.

STONEHAM, MA — Police are wearing and selling camouflage uniform patches to honor veterans and raise money for the town's Veterans Assistance Fund.
The effort will last through October. It will go toward the Veterans Assistance Fund, which supports veterans who need a hand, including help with medical bills or medications, purchasing durable medical equipment, paying for emergency auto repairs, utility payments, rent or mortgage arrearages, moving expenses or emergency hotel stays.
Each patch costs $10. Anyone interested can buy them at the station dispatch window or by sending a check payable to the Stoneham Police Association to Stoneham Police Department, Attn: Erin Sinclair, 47 Central St., Stoneham, MA 02180. (Please enclose a postage-paid return-address envelope.)
