Stoneham Schools Plan Safety Night
The event will include discussions on building security, online safety, mental health and more.

STONEHAM, MA — The Stoneham Public Schools will host a community School Safety Night this week, schools Superintendent David Ljungberg announced last Tuesday.
The event is set for Thursday, Oct. 27 at 7 p.m. at Stoneham High School. It will aim to give attendees a chance to learn about topics ranging from mental health and substance use to online safety, as noted in Ljungberg’s announcement.
The event will include discussions on the role of Stoneham’s school resource officer, building security, bicycle safety and Halloween safety ahead of the upcoming holiday.

The Stoneham Schools are planning additional opportunities to learn about ALICE training, which has been implemented to address potential active shooter situations.
There will be information on other drills and school safety protocols as well.
