Trooper Tamar Bucci's Funeral, Visitation Services Set
Bucci, 34, of Woburn, was killed late Thursday night when her cruiser was struck by a tanker truck on I-93 in Stoneham.

STONEHAM, MA — Funeral services have been set for Tamar Bucci, the Massachusetts State Trooper killed in a crash on I-93 last week.
Visiting hours will be Tuesday at St. Anthony of Padua Church in Revere from 4-7 p.m. A celebration of Bucci's life will be held Wednesday at the same location at 11 a.m.
Bucci, 34, of Woburn, was killed late Thursday night when her cruiser was struck by a tanker truck as she tried to pull over to help a disabled vehicle.

Bucci was assigned to the State Police Medford Barracks. She was an Andover High and Middlesex Community College graduate.
She is survived by her mother and her father, two sisters, a step-sister and a step-brother.

"We are heartbroken by this tragedy, and resolve to continue our mission to protect and serve by following the example set by Trooper Bucci in her brief MSP career and her life that was cut short far too soon," State Police said in a stateent. "The tremendous outpouring of support shown by Troopers and local officers at the hospital is testimony to the respect and admiration that Trooper Bucci earned within her chosen field in less than two years wearing the badge."
