Two Massachusetts Zoos Offering Free Admission To Moms On Mother's Day

Moms of all ages will receive free admission to the Franklin Park Zoo in Boston and the Stone Zoo in Stoneham on Sunday, May 8.

BOSTON — Running out of ideas for what to do for mom on her special day? Why not take her to the zoo?

Both the Franklin Park Zoo in Boston and the Stone Zoo in Stoneham will offer free admission to all moms from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday, May 8.

Both zoos operated by Zoo New England are the perfect place for all to explore, enjoy and learn about Mother Nature.

Last month, Franklin Park Zoo unveiled Gorilla Grove, a $9 million habitat decked out in climbing vines and waterfalls for the zoo's six gorillas.

Filled with mothers of the animal kingdom, families can watch and interact with different species.

Moms will receive free admission Sunday, but other family members and guests will be required to purchase tickets online in advance.
