What's Open and Closed on Patriots' Day in Stoneham?

Monday is Patriots' Day, a state holiday in Massachusetts marking the Battles of Lexington and Concord and the start of the Revolutionary War. It is not a federal holiday.
Here’s a look at some of what is open and what is closed on Monday. As always, it is best to call ahead.
Stoneham Town Hall: Closed

U.S. Post Offices and mail delivery: The post office on Main Street in Stoneham will be open and there will be mail delivery.
Banks: Banks generally close only on federal holidays. Call ahead.
MBTA: The 132 Route Bus and all other buses will operate on a Saturday schedule. Some routes will not operate; check the MBTA site for details. Also:
- Commuter Rail: Will operate on a regular weekday schedule.
- Subway: Will operate on a regular weekday schedule with rush-hour levels of service before and after the Boston Marathon. On the Green Line, Copley Station will be closed. The Berkley Street entrance/exit of Arlington Station will remain closed. The "B" section of Hynes Convention Center located on Boylston Street will be available for exit only.
Supermarkets, convenience stores, pharmacies, restaurants and other retail businesses: Many local businesses are open regular hours, but it is always good to call ahead. Use Stoneham Patch’s Directory to look up contact information for any local businesses.
Liquor Stores: Most are open. Call ahead.
