2, Including Teen Girl, Shot Outside Baby Shower In Stoughton

STOUGHTON, MA — A teen girl and a man were shot in Stoughton while leaving a baby shower Saturday night, according to police.

The shooting happened around 10:40 p.m. outside a function hall on Porter Street. Police said the victims were shot while they were leaving the baby shower. Both victims were taken to the hospital, but their injuries are not considered life-threatening.

Police said several shooters fired more than 20 shots outside the function hall. It was believed to be a targeted shooting.

No arrests have been made, as of Monday. Stoughton police asked anyone who lives on Porter Street or Monk Street to check their outdoor home surveillance systems to help find suspects. Residents should check their camera footage from between 10 p.m. and 11 p.m.
