1. Pedal to End Cancer

Elite Health and Fitness in Stoughton will be hosting Pedal to End Cancer on Sunday, March 3 from 9 am to 12 pm.

Formerly known as Spin for Hope, Pedal to End Cancer is a three hour indoor cycling event for a great cause - the American Cancer Society’s fight against cancer.

Participants individually cycle for the full three hours, or form a team and take turns cycling. 

Participants should register online at PedaltoEndCancer.org. For more details please contact Elite Health and Fitness at 781-287-0979, or come to the club at 1519 Central Street in Stoughton.

2. Playoff Basketball

The postseason continues for the Stoughton High girls' basketball team Friday, March 1 when the Black Knights travel to Braintree High for a 7 p.m. game.

Stoughton (14-7) is the 10th seed (out of 19 total teams) in the Division 1 South Sectional bracket. Braintree (21-2) is the #2 seed.

3. Help Keep Your Kids Safe in Stoughton

A free child safety event will be held at Kiddie Academy of Stoughton, 1202 Washington Street, on Saturday, March 2, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

4. Parent Informational Meeting

The following is from the Stoughton Public Schools:

There will be a parent informational meeting held on Wednesday, March 6 at 7 p.m. at the O’Donnell Middle School Media Center to introduce the new protocols to be used in response to an active shooter incident, should such a thing ever occur in one of our schools.  

Parents are encouraged to attend to hear about the incoming changes and discuss them with Stoughton Public School and Stoughton Police Department officials.
