2. South Coast Rail Workshop

A South Coast Rail Stoughton Community Priority Area 5-Year update public workshop will be held May 21 at 5:30 p.m. at the Stoughton Town Hall.

This public workshop will assist the community in determining priority development and priority preservation areas in Stoughton.

3. Stoughton High Construction Challenge Team Departs for Global Competition 

Following a first place finish at the Destination Imagination regional competition at Whitman-Hanson on March 16, Stoughton High Construction Challenge Team R.E.E.L., which competes in the Structural division, placed second at states, held March 30 at WPI. 

As a result, Team R.E.E.L. (Captain Sarah Purcell, Captain Dylan Freitas, Beth Sloane, Leslie Camilo, Jenna Morris, David Bunce-Grenon and Michael Cardoso) qualified for Destination Imagination's annual week-long global competition in Knoxville, Tennessee.

Globals are this week, and the team departs for Tennessee Tuesday.

4. Bingo at the Senior Center

The Senior Center will hold its weekly game of BINGO at 12:45 p.m.

5. Reminder: Thursday is Food Pantry Day in Stoughton

Stoughton resident Peg Carbone continues her effort to curb hunger in Stoughton, personally picking up donations for the food pantries every Thursday.

Here's a note from Peg: "I pick up non perishable food and also household items every Thursday, anywhere in Stoughton and deliver them to the food pantry. Please tell your friends and neighbors. One item, one bag or several, and I will pick them up every Thursday."
