The Stoughton School Committee meets in the TV studio at Stoughton High at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 13.

2. Darkness to Light Training at the YMCA

The Old Colony YMCA’s Stoughton Branch (445 Central St.) is offering the award-winning Darkness To Light child abuse prevention training to the community on Tuesday, Nov. 13, 2012 from 6 to 9 p.m. This training is FREE and open to all adults.

3. Trash Collection Schedule

On Monday, Nov. 12, there was no curbside trash collection in observance of Veterans Day.

So, trash collection for Veterans Day will be scheduled for Tuesday, Nov. 13, in addition to the regular Tuesday collection.  

This is standard procedure for any holiday. All rubbish and recyclables must be curbside by 7 a.m. on your collection day.

4. Bingo at the Senior Center

The Senior Center will hold its weekly game of BINGO at 12:45 p.m.

5. Reminder: Thursday is Food Pantry Day in Stoughton

Stoughton resident Peg Carbone continues her effort to curb hunger in Stoughton, personally picking up donations for the food pantries every Thursday.

Here's a note from Peg: "I pick up non perishable food and also household items every Thursday, anywhere in Stoughton and deliver them to the food pantry. Please tell your friends and neighbors. One item, one bag or several, and I will pick them up every Thursday."
