Boston Woman Hit By Pickup Truck And Killed In Abington
Police say Marissa Voller, 35, of Boston, was walking along Route 18 Tuesday night when she was struck by the truck.
ABINGTON, MA — A woman was hit by a car and killed while walking along Route 18 in Abington Tuesday night, Plymouth County District Attorney Timothy J. Cruz said.
Abington police officers responded to the scene just after 7 p.m., after receiving a call of a pickup truck versus a pedestrian.
The woman, identified as Marissa Voller, 35, of Boston, was rushed to South Shore Hospital where she later died from her injuries, police said.

State Police Detectives and Abington officers conducted an investigation and found that Voller was in the left travel lane of Route 18 prior to being hit. Police say visibility was low and the weather was misty.
The male driver of the pickup truck called 911 and remained on the scene, police confirmed.
