1. Last Day of School 

The last day of the 2011-2012 school year is Tuesday, June 19 for students in grades kindergarten through 11.

The high school and middle school will be dismissed at 11:15 a.m. Elementary Schools students will be dismissed at 12 p.m. Tuesday is a full day for teachers.

2. Selectmen to Hold Public Hearing on Stoughton's Water, Sewer and Trash Rates

The Stoughton Board of Selectmen will be holding a public hearing on Tuesday, June 19 as part of their regularly scheduled meeting to consider adjustments to the municipal water, sewer and trash rates.

The hearing is scheduled for 8 p.m. in the Great Hall on the third floor of the .

3. Bingo at the Senior Center

The  will hold its weekly game of BINGO at 12:45 p.m.

4. Wednesday: Cash Mob Stoughton at Foley's Backstreet Grille

“,” which has the goal of funneling support (and money) to local businesses, has selected . as its "hit" this week.

The mob "hit" will take place Wednesday, June 20. Foley's is open from 5 p.m. until 10 p.m.

The mob also has an ongoing effort to encourage residents to visit the  in the downtown.

5. Reminder: Thursday is Food Pantry Day in Stoughton

Stoughton resident Peg Carbone continues her effort to curb hunger in Stoughton, personally picking up donations for the food pantries every Thursday.

Here's a note from Peg: "I pick up non perishable food and also household items every Thursday, anywhere in Stoughton and deliver them to the food pantry. Please tell your friends and neighbors. One item, one bag or several, and I will pick them up every Thursday."
