Injured Dog Believed to be From Stoughton-Sharon Area, Owner Sought

The needs medical treatment and Tufts medical staff in Walpole need approval from the owner.

An injured Italian Greyhound dog was located Thursday afternoon and is believed to be from the Stoughton or Sharon area, according to Granite State Dog Recovery.

The dog was reportedly hit by a car around 4:45 p.m. Thursday and brought to Tufts Veterinary Emergency Treatment & Specialties in Walpole.

The dog’s owner or anyone who is familiar with the dog is asked to contact Tufts at 508-668-5454, as she needs medical care and approval.

According to GSDR’s post on Thursday, the dog is from the area of Crescent Ridge Dairy and Bay Road in Sharon.
