Officials to Hold Public Forum on Stoughton Downtown Redevelopment

The Stoughton Redevelopment Authority is planning to hold a public forum this month to discuss the Stoughton Downtown Redevelopment plan.
The meeting will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 29 at the Stoughton Senior Center, 110 Rockland St. in Stoughton, officials announced Thursday.

As part of the planning process, a consultant team led by The Cecil Group is looking to obtain input from community members, from officials to residents to business owners, to get a better idea of the issues and opportunities in the downtown Stoughton area. The upcoming forum will be the first of a series of public workshops, officials said.
The plan, according to officials, is expected to be completed by late spring or early summer 2015 and to feature the following updates:

- Fall 2014/Winter 2015: Existing conditions analysis and buildout alternatives
- Winter/Spring 2015: Public input and refinement of plan elements
- Spring/Summer 2015: Draft report and approval process
