Three Stoughton High students were honored as local winners in the Voice of Democracy essay contest - Ashley Merola (1st), James MacDonald (2nd), and Joseph Souto (3rd). All three are sophomores. This year's essay topic was "Is Our Constitution Still Relevant?"
Three O'Donnell Middle School eighth graders were honored as local winners in the Patriot's Pen essay contest - Dylan Flynn (1st), Lauren Sears (2nd) and Mackenzie Lally (3rd). This year's essay theme was "What I Would Tell America's Founding Fathers?"

Laurie Columbus from the Gibbons Elementary School, Russell Clough from the OMS and Michael Ingrao from SHS were honored as the Stoughton teachers of the year.
Sheanna Isabel was honored as the Stoughton Police Officer of the year and Captain Jim Bertram was honored as the Stoughton Fireman of the year.
