Stoughton Attorney Pleads Not Guilty to Child Pornography Charges

A Stoughton-based attorney pleaded not guilty Tuesday to charges of child pornography, according to the Norfolk County District Attorney’s office.

Richard Comenzo faces one count of possession of child pornography and one count of dissemination of child pornography, according to David Traub of the DA’s office.
Comenzo was arraigned at Stoughton District Court Tuesday in front of Judge Stephen S. Ostrach and represented by Attorney Josh Weinberg for bail purposes. Comenzo pleaded not guilty, Traub said.

According to Traub, Ostrach set $2,000 cash bail with the following pre-trial conditions:
- GPS monitoring
- No internet access, including no use of compuoter, tablet or smart phone
- No contact with children younger than 18 years of age
- Check-in weekly with Probation
The case resumes on Nov. 25 for probable cause, Traub said.

Stoughton attorney Richard Comenzo was set to be arraigned in Stoughton District Court Tuesday on child pornography charges, according to a report by NECN confirmed by the Norfolk County District Attorney’s office.
Comenzo, whose law office is based in Stoughton, is facing one count of possession of child pornography and one count of dissemination of child pornography, according to David Traub of the DA’s office.
Arraignment had not yet occurred as of 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, Traub said; and NECN reported that the DA has been working with authorities on the investigation.
