Stoughton DPW: Continuing Road Work, Paving to Resume Friday

The Stoughton Department of Public Works on Wednesday announced that continuing road work will resume this Friday, Oct. 10, with the final paving of three areas of town.
The intersections to be affected on Friday include Porter and Rose Streets, School and Washington streets and Central and Pearl streets, officials said.
The work will result in “partial or total street shut-downs for brief periods,” the DPW said in Wednesday’s announcement.

Meanwhile, additional work in the streets is to include the removal of old gate boxes in the roads that have had new water mains installed, but the will not result in the shut-down of streets. Crews will also remove discontinued hydrants.
