Stoughton High School JV Lax Program Making Strides, Donations Still Sought

Organizers of Stoughton High School’s junior varsity lacrosse team’s upcoming first season have made significant strides toward its goal of raising $20,000 to cover costs associated with the program, but donations are still being sought.

While a recent Parent’s Night Out fundraiser and other fundraising activities have yielded several donations, organizers said the effort is only about halfway to goal, and told Stoughton Patch this week they have raised about $10,000 thus far.

Future fundraisers are expected to help with the funding, organizers said, but support outside of such events is welcome and encouraged.
