The following are obituaries for Stoughton residents or those with Stoughton ties for the week of March 10-16, 2013.

Patricia A. (Simons) Rogan
Patricia A. (Simons) Rogan, 55, died unexpectedly on Monday, March 11, after being stricken ill at her home in Stoughton. She was the wife of Edward J. Rogan.
Born in Somerville, she was raised Allston and was a graduate of Brighton High School, Class of 1975. She was a resident of Stoughton for over 27 years.

She worked as a Phone Representative for Big Brother – Big Sister for over 5 years. For many years, she was very active in several Drum & Bugle Corps, including the Pembroke Imperials, the Citations and the Connecticut Hurricanes.
She was active in NESBA, POPS and the Eastern Massachusetts Drum & Bugle Corps Association. In her free time, she enjoyed spending time with her family.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, Amy M. Bolt and her husband Tristan of FL and James P. Rogan of Stoughton.
She was the sister of Paul A. Simons of Somerville, Kathi Susan Brown of Brighton, Nancy S. Bonica of Wilmington and Michael L. Simons of Stoughton. She is also survived by her granddaughter Talia M. Bolt.
A Funeral Mass will be held at the Immaculate Conception Church, 122 Canton St. (Rte 27), Stoughton on Saturday, March 16, at 10:30 a.m.
Due to Lenten floral restrictions, no flowers will be accepted. Donations in her memory may be made to the Patricia A. Rogan Family Fund, c/o Bank of Canton, Attn: Geri Ryan, CIC Officer, 557 Washington St., Canton, MA 02021.

Raymond B. LaCasse
Raymond B. LaCasse, 57, died at Morton Hospital in Taunton on Thursday, March 7 after a lengthy illness. He was the husband of Gayle H. (Everett) LaCasse.
Son of Marguerite (Lynch) LaCasse of Plymouth and the late Raymond F. LaCasse, he was born in Boston and was a lifelong resident of Stoughton before moving to Raynham a year ago.
He was a graduate of Stoughton High School, Class of 1974. Mr. LaCasse served in the U.S. Army from 1976-1982. He was a laborer with the Teamsters Local 82. He was an avid sportsman and especially enjoyed spending time with his family.
In addition to his wife and mother, Mr. LaCasse is survived by his children, Katie L. Yaitanes and Raymond F. LaCasse, II both of Raynham, as well as his beloved granddaughter, Grayce Helen Yaitanes.
He was the brother of Paul LaCasse of Canton, Lauren LaCasse of Lakeville, Peggy Ann Mahoney of N. Attleboro, Lisa D'Andrea of Stoughton and the late John LaCasse. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Funeral Service was held from the Farley Funeral Home in Stoughton on Wednesday, March 13 at 11:30 a.m.
Private Interment took take place at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne.

Ellen M. (Bailey) Sullivan
Ellen M. (Bailey) Sullivan, 84, of Taunton, formerly of Stoughton, died Sunday, March 10, 2013 at Morton Hospital in Taunton after a period of failing health. She was the wife of the late Robert G. Sullivan.
Born in Augusta, Maine on January 18, 1929, a daughter of the late Leeland and Mary Bailey, she was raised in Gardner, Maine and was a graduate of Gardner High School.
Ellen was employed as a machinist for 42 years at Draper Brother's in Canton. A resident of Stoughton for 29 years, she moved to Taunton 22 years ago.
Ellen's hobbies included gardening and spending time outdoors. She was devoted to her grandchildren.
Ellen is survived by a son, Robert "Bob" Sullivan and his wife Jana of Raynham; a brother, David Bailey of ME.; and two grandchildren, Kevin Sullivan and Jennifer Sullivan both of Raynham. She was also the sister of the late Louis Bailey and Frances Bailey.
Funeral arrangements were handled by the Kane Funeral Home in Easton.
