Stoughton Police Catch Pair of Teens Who Robbed 13-Year-Old Boy
Stoughton Police arrested two 18-year-old girls after they allegedly robbed a 13-year-old boy in the vicinity of Monk St. in Stoughton.

Two 18-year-old girls allegedly robbed a 13-year-old boy Tuesday afternoon in the vicinity of Monk St. in Stoughton, taking his phone and a gameboy.
Some quick work from the Stoughton Police Department led to their arrests a short time later.
"With a brief description of the perpetrators, Officer Joe DeSousa realized he had field interviewed two females matching the description in the area at approximately the same time," according to a post on the Stoughton Police Department Facebook page.

"Evening officers began searching for the perpetrators and managed to get into a foot chase through back yards in the Poskus St. area where Lt. Dan McGowan found them hiding behind a fence," the post continued.
Both teens were arrested and the boy's property was recovered, according to Stoughton Police.

Tabitha Butterworth, 18, of High St. in Abington, and Haleigh Connelly, 18, of Hudson St. in Northborough, were both charged with unarmed robbery and disorderly conduct.
Stoughton Police officers John Lydstone, Allen Curtis, Emmet Letendre and Shawn Faria also assisted with this incident.
