Stoughton Police Make Multiple Arrests for Assault and Battery, Drug Possession

Assault & Battery

Joseph John Napolitano, 65, of Pinewood Ave. in Stoughton, was charged with assault & battery by a dangerous weapon after police responded to a call on Pinewood Ave. shortly after 8 p.m. on May 12.
Napolitano allegedly sprayed his neighbor with mace.

This was the result of an ongoing neighbor dispute, Deputy Chief Robert Devine said, and while Napolitano is licensed to carry mace, police said the spraying was unwarranted.

Assault and Battery
A caller reported that a male punched a female in the face in the vicinity of 3 Hawes Way in Stoughton (Planet Fitness), then chased her over a guard rail.
Police logged the call at 8:56 p.m. on May 10.
Michael L. Hood, 22, of Randolph, was charged with domestic assault and battery and resisting arrest. He also had an outstanding warrant.

Drug Arrest
A Stoughton man was charged after he allegedly picked up a bag with a prescription in it that a woman had dropped in Walgreens and then left the store with it May 10, around 2:45 p.m.
James L. Imbaro, 53, of Camelot Ct. in Stoughton, was charged with theft of a controlled substance from a person authorized to dispense or possess, and possession of a Class B drug.

Drug Arrest
Stoughton Police responded to a call for a suspicious vehicle parked in front of a house in the vicinity of Cross St. and Moreau St. at 12:14 a.m. on May 9.
Kerri A. Keaney, 24, of Weymouth, was charged with possession of a Class B drug and conspiracy to violate drug law. Keaney also had an outstanding warrant.
Jay Lipis, 56, of Cross St. in Stoughton, was charged with possession of a Class B drug and conspiracy to violate drug law.

Drug Arrest
Abimael Sanchez, 32, of Brockton, was charged with four counts of possession of a Class B drug, the unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, and speeding in violation of a special regulation following a motor vehicle stop at 2:34 a.m. on May 11 at the intersection of Park St. and Prospect St.

Disturbance
A caller reported a disturbance - people yelling and screaming - in the vicinity of School St. and Perry St. at 1:21 a.m. May 9.
Katherine Fournier, 35, of Norwood, was charged with disorderly conduct, resisting arrest and possession of a Class C Drug.
Kenneth Desrosiers, 46, of Taunton, and Melissa Balch, 30, of Canton, each had outstanding warrants.
