Stoughton Seeking Volunteers for 19 Town Board/Committees

The deadline for applications is Friday, June 8 at noon.

Town of Stoughton - Notice of Vacancies 

Applications for appointment to the following boards and commissions will be accepted at the Town Manager's office at Town Hall (10 Pearl St.) until noon on Friday, June 8, 2012:

  • Board of Assessors - 1 vacancy, 3-year term 
  • Board of Registrars - 1 vacancy, 3-year term
  • Board of Health - 3 vacancies, 3-year terms
  • Brockton Area Transit Representative - 1 vacancy, 3-year term
  • Cable TV Advisory Committee - 6 vacancies, 3-year terms
  • Cedar Hill Golf - 3 vacancies, 3-year terms
  • Commission on Disabilities - 1 vacancy, 1-year term
  • Commission on Disabilities - 2 vacancies, 3-year terms
  • Community Preservation Act Committee - 3 vacancies, 3-year terms
  • Conservation Commission - 3 vacancies, 3-year terms
  • Council on Aging - 3 vacancies, 3-year terms
  • Cultural Council - 4 vacancies, 3-year terms
  • Historical Commission - 1 vacancy, 3-year terms
  • Industrial Development Finance Authority - 1 vacancy, 2-year term
  • Library Trustees - 2 vacancies, 3-year terms
  • Planning Board - 1 vacancy, 5-year term
  • Self Help, Inc. Representative - 1 vacancy, 3-year term
  • Stoughton Media Access Corp. (SMAC) - 2 vacancies, 2-year terms
  • Youth Commission - 1 vacancy, 3-year term
  • Zoning Board of Appeals - 2 vacancies, 3-year terms
  • Zoning Board of Appeals (Alternate) - 4 vacancies, 2-year terms

Positions are voluntary except Board of Assessors, which has an annual stipend of $666.
