Stoughton U12 Girls Team Wins 'Play, Eat, Score' Contest
The Stoughton U12 Girls team win visit from New England Revolution defender Darrius Barnes and pizza party from Papa Gino's.

New England Revolution defender Darrius Barnes surprised players from the Stoughton U12 Girls soccer team during their practice on June 27 as part of the New England Revolution and Papa Gino’s “Play, Eat, Score” contest.Barnes visited their home field at Kolz Fields in Stoughton, where he ran soccer drills and provided tips during the team’s practice. He also signed autographs and posed for photos with the young soccer stars.
After practice, Papa Gino’s threw the team a pizza party and distributed prize packs, which included tickets to an upcoming Revolution home match. The Stoughton U12 Girls soccer team is the final of five local New England teams to win this year’s “Play, Eat, Score” contest.
