Stoughton's Kids Day 2013 Kicks Off Town's July 4th Festivities
Stoughton's Kids Day 2013 will be held Saturday, June 29 from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. at Stoughton High School, a prelude to the July 3 fireworks and July 4th parade.

After the popular event was scrapped last year, Kids Day is back this year in Stoughton, and there are some big activities planned.
Kids Day 2013 is being held this Saturday, June 29 from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. at Stoughton High School.
It is being presented by the Stoughton Community Events Committee, in partnership with the Stoughton Old Colony YMCA.

Events and activities include:
- Bike contest (registration at 10 a.m., contest from 10:30-11)
- Magic show (11:30 a.m.)
- Dunk tank - where you can dunk Stoughton Fire Chief Mark Dolloff (12:30 p.m.)
- Stoughton Police K9 show (1 p.m. - 1:30 p.m.)
- Petting zoo (10 a.m. - 2 p.m.)
- Face painting (10 a.m. - 2 p.m.)
- Pony rides (10 a.m. - 2 p.m.)
- Inflatable obstacle course and bounce houses (10 a.m. - 2 p.m.)
- Hot air balloon rides (10 a.m. - 2 p.m.)

Food and ice cream for kids will be provided by the Knights of Columbus and Daddy's Dairy.
Kids Day 2013 is made possible with help from the YMCA, Randolph Savings Bank, Stoughton Fire Department, Stoughton Police Department, Stoughton Media Access, Walgreens, Tattoos by Pushing Ink, Stoughton Public Schools, Stoughton DPW, Kind Snack Bar, and the Stoughton Woman's Club.
Kids Day will serve as a warm up for Stoughton Community Events Committee's annual July 4th festivities.
The annual carnival, concert and fireworks are planned for the evening of Wednesday, July 3.
The annual parade is scheduled for 2 p.m. on Thursday, July 4.
