Update on Stoughton's Annual Battle With Potholes

Potholes – the scourge of the sedan, traitor among tires, foe of the frappuccino – multiple in the winter after bouts of snow and cold weather.

The Stoughton Department of Public Works is fighting the yearly battle against those car rattling potholes.

"We have been pothole patching on the days we have no snow or rain," said DPW superintendent John Batchelder. "I think we have a few more this year than usual. We are fortunate that we are still able to get hot asphalt for the most part and have used very little cold patch."

If you are seeing a proliferation of potholes, give the town a call, but then also share your info with us in the comments below.
