Stoughton Police, with the help of some volunteers, rescued an owl stuck in netting at the Cedar Hill Golf Course on Park St. in Stoughton last Saturday morning, March 30.
Police received a call reporting the incident at 9:18 a.m., less than two hours before the start of the Stoughton Community Events Committee's Annual Easter Egg Hunt, which was set to take place at Cedar Hill.
The owl was found tangled in a net, hanging upside down, wrote Laurie Cushing, who uploaded the video she took of the rescue.

After the owl was removed from the net, it was taken to a medical center for animals in West Bridgewater, according to the Stoughton Police log.
