Will Stoughton Trash, Recycling Collection be Delayed Next Week?

Find out if you'll be affected by the Columbus Day holiday on Monday.

Columbus Day arrives this coming Monday, Oct. 13. But will Stoughton residents’ trash and recycling be affected by the holiday?

The Stoughton Department of Public Works announced this week that there will be NO curbside trash collection and recycling on Monday in observance of Columbus Day.

Monday’s collection, instead, will be scheduled for Tuesday, Oct. 14 in addition to the regular Tuesday collection.

Leaves & Yard Waste

Beginning Saturday, Nov. 1, and running from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. for five Saturdays only, Stoughton residents will be able to bring leaves and “chipable brush” to the Gay Street storage yard behind Meads Meadow, Stoughton DPW officials announced.
